Why do I keep blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers?
There are countless reasons why you could be blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers. Some of the more common reasons are:

  • Overload occurs when your power usage exceeds the amperage rating of the circuit breaker or fuse.
  • A short circuit occurs when a live portion comes into contact with the ground or another live circuit.
  • Or the circuit may be heating up due to a loose connection somewhere along the circuit.
  • Lake Electric specializes in both finding and solving these types of issues.
